The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented and passionate Motion Graphics Designer to join our growing Brand & Content team at Phorest. You will get to be part of a rapidly growing technology company, with a unique niche in the hair and beauty industry. Successful candidates will join an established team of content creators and creatives to deliver growth and success as part of the Marketing Team.

The Specifics/Expected Outcomes

Deliver On-Brand motion graphics and video content for our global audience.

• Design visual assets that support, reflect and advocate for our focus on diverse, accessible, and inclusive content.
• You have the skills to create projects varying from 10-second stings to 3-minute explainer videos, working to industry standards.
• Meet with stakeholders to establish the desired look and feel for any video that needs to be created
• Work closely with our copywriters to identify the best visual assets to support their written content
• Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation
• Create an initial proposed storyboard draft for videos to present to stakeholders and receive feedback/approval before beginning to digitally alter/edit videos
• Improve video and sound quality using various video software
• Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to stakeholders specifications
• Work on multiple projects at a time simultaneously, prioritizing and communicating project status regularly.
• Use results-driven learning to ensure the assets you produce are effective
• Work with regional marketing managers to localise video content for Phorest’s major markets

Be our Motion Graphics and Video Content Guardian of the Phorest Brand

• Work with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to deliver on-brand assets for customer-facing communications
• Identify and initiate fixes where assets in the business are not adhering to Phorest brand guidelines
• Be meticulous at maintaining and contributing to a clean content management system

Must-haves

• 2 years + relevant experience in motion graphics and video content, in a marketing team would be an advantage
• Up to date portfolio with samples across motion graphics and video formats
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of motion graphics and video editing with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Comfortable using other software in Adobe Suite
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
• Exceptional eye for detail and skilled in design
• Capability to bring a design brief to life from beginning to end
• Care and attention to detail when it comes to executing content that is on-brand
• You must believe feedback is a gift and be willing to both take and receive it to make our design team the best in our industry
