Our client, a highly successful organisation who develop Digital and Software Solutions, require a Mid-Level Java Developer to join their team. This role is an initial 6 month contract, expected to roll over to 12 months +.
My client are offering fully remote work as long as you are based in EU.
Responsibilities:
- Work across full development lifecycle
- Comply with requirements and specifications to write high quality code that is well designed, efficient and testable
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- 3+ years experience Software Development experience
- Hands on experience in application design and development using Java EE platform
- Knowledge of Relational Databases
- Hands on experience with Spring Framework
- Experience with web development in at least one web framework (JSF, Spring MVC, GWT) etc.
- Understanding around Java and JEE Internals (ie. Memory management, Transaction management etc)
- DevOps experience (ie. CI/CD, Continuous Testing)
