About the Role

• Direct the activities of a software applications development team delivering new features for the Workday Recruiting Product.
• Work in a highly collaborative, agile environment and with cross-functional teams to deliver a best in class solution that delights and enables our customers.
• Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and enhancement of a high quality Workday product
• Interact with the Dev teams, product managers, QA and customers to solve everyday problems in an innovative way
• Understand and promote industry best practice.
• Select, coach and evaluate your team ensuring both the efficient operation of the team, and their personal development and career growth.

​​Basic Qualifications:

• You have 5+ years experience managing and coaching software developers ranging in experience from graduate level up to seasoned professionals.
• You see software development as a team sport, and thrive in a highly collaborative, agile culture where you’re always teaching and learning.
• You have a strong focus on delivering high quality software products and you value test automation.
• You are proactive and able to deliver on initiatives that you start, pushing through setbacks and adversity to deliver.
• You have a strong background and technical capabilities in object oriented design and development with languages such as; Java, .NET. C#, Python, Ruby, etc.

Other Qualifications:

• You possess a degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• You are delivery-focused, motivated, and adept at keeping long term goals in mind while delivering day-to-day.
