Cimpress businesses ship over 100 000 orders every day, and all of them should be delivered by the time we promised to the customer. To optimize costs, we need to figure out the best time to produce and the best way to ship it. Our team is responsible for logistics planning - finding the most optimal way to ship a given order. We develop a high performance .NET Core application which finds the best shipping plan and have a configuration UI developed in React.

Every team defines their own roadmaps, and uses the programming languages and technologies that suit them best. This helps us have a big impact at the enterprise level while still feeling small and nimble.

What you will do:

As a Lead Software Engineer, working in a cross-functional team, you’ll be expected to collaborate with multiple teams across the globe, understand the business domain, design solutions, and shape technical direction without requiring direct supervision and direction.

• Develop backend and UI for planning services
• Clarify requirements with product owner and other teams
• Analyze complex problems and break them down into smaller tasks
• Propose technical improvements
• Participate in design meetings and code reviews
• Solve support requests raised from customers/other teams
• Participate in on-call duty

• 5+ years of hands-on working experience
• Experience with C# and .NET
• Web development in JavaScript/TypeScript

A huge plus is if you have former experience with frontend development ( React.js) and cloud-based services (AWS)
