The Role

We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Junior Packet Switched Core Engineer who is committed to their work, and should be comfortable working in a fast paced, highly flexible environment. The role will be responsible for design and implementation of a global Data network. This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to demonstrate their technical and organisational ability, working in a small team of engineers at the cutting edge of IoT technologies.

In this role you will be:

• Part of a team responsible for the global PS Core Data infrastructure design and operations.
• Conscious of security at all layers.
• Ensuring consistent uptime of the PS Core network.

Requirements

• Technologies required: PGW, DNS, PCRF, PCEF, Gn, Gy, Gi
• 1-3 years’ experience in PS Core network infrastructure design and implementation.
• Hands on experience with Affirmed Networks PGW desirable.
• IP network experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Knowledge of PS Call flows
• Knowledge of PS KPIs
• Ability to work in small teams.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Commitment to provide a high quality and professional service.
• Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for the completion of tasks.
• Ability to prioritise work tasks.
• Adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
• Effective problem solving skills.
