Main duties and responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Answer second level networking calls relating to VPN, Wifi, internet connectivity, IP Telephony
- Assist senior network engineers onsite in supporting our network infrastructure – from router updates, patching and maintenance of the network
- Remotely support home users in their networking needs- from issuing guidance on home broadband to VPN to Multi-factor authentication
- Basic IT experience – interest in technology, hardware and software
- Some knowledge of VPN, Firewall and network routing
- Preferably with an entry level certification eg CompTIA Network+
- Willingness to study for Cisco CCNA certification
