My client is recruiting for a IT Security Governance Manager to join the team. This role is remote working initially. The candidate will be responsible to define and ensure that implementation of all IT Security policies across the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish IT security and governance framework & controls across the team.
- Define security policies & procedures into IT and business teams
- Manage security incidents, respond to incidents & manage any relevant actions
- Monitors, audits & reports security issues & risks within IT team, 3rd parties and wider business if needed.
- You will train the business areas of IT security policies & procedures.
Experience Required
- Security & IT Governance frameworks & controls
- Identifies security framework, & ensure continual assessment
- You will define security policies & procedures and put into IT and business teams
- Define & put IT governance structure including policies and procedures
- Ensures controls are in place for both Security & IT governance and monitors outputs.
- IT Risk Management Establish IT risk framework and controls
- You will ensure risk are managed & communicated accurately and timely
- Ensure adequate & accurate risk event actions are identified & closed in a timely way
- IT Security Technical Leadership
- Works with best in class vendors & partners to determine security solutions that are fit for purpose
- Provides leadership & mentoring across organisation of IT security
Essential and Desirable Skills
- At least 7 years’ experience in leading IT operations and infrastructure teams
- At least 7 years’ experience in cyber security
- Experience in security tools and solutions
Educational Requirements
- Relevant third level degree qualification in
