Our Financial Services Client is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team for an initial 12 Month Contract.
Job Responsibilities
- Management and execution of organizational IT infrastructure
- Assist with planning and execution of all infrastructure changes
- Production support of all service requests and issues across all company applications
- Ownership and resolution of all level 3 infrastructure issues
- Maintenance and security of all infrastructure
- Customer relationship management
- Server builds, virtualization, migrations, and support
- Microsoft cloud services (e.g. Office 365 & Azure) installation, migration, and support
- Microsoft applications (e.g. Exchange, SQL, SharePoint,) setup, migration, and support
- Network and firewall setup and support
- Backup solutions setup & support
- End-user level 3 device support and troubleshooting as required
- Engage with the change process and execute on change tasks according to scope agreed
- Implement proactive support upgrades, patching and all other maintenance activities
- Assist ensuring all IT infrastructure assets are hardened, patched, secured, configured, maintained and services are kept available
Experience Required
- Relevant third level degree qualification in IT or equivalent
- Suitable technical qualifications (such as CCNA, relevant Microsoft certifications, VMware etc.)
- At least 3 years’ experience in leading IT infrastructure system administration
- Qualification in relevant frameworks or security standards – ITIL
