As a Senior IT Engineer with Ireland’s leading MSP you will work on exciting projects with Enterprise clients on a diverse tech stack which includes M365, VMware, Virtual Desktop solutions and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

What will you do?

• Deliver IT Projects including Migrations and transformations, application modernization, security & identity assessments and networking assessments and design.
• Provide input on technical architecture on our engagements, and provide feedback around the evolution of the solution
• Develop and maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of Ergo products, services and solutions
• Coach and mentor less experienced IT engineers and avail of every opportunity to impart knowledge to others
• Document relevant technical information including site schematics, system problems, problem resolution and knowledge base content
• Provide technical training to customers - systems administration and end user
• Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility
• Manage all aspects of hardware and virtual infrastructure and third-party support
• Responsible for success of Backup, Replication and Recovery
• Monitor and plan for capacity and performance
• Ensure enterprise hardware, software and related services are patched and hardened
• Implement best practice service methodologies including Disaster Recovery, Capacity Planning, Incident Management, Change Management and Infrastructure Monitoring.
• Responsible for Disaster Recovery processes and procedures, including backups, testing and site recovery management

• 5+ years' in a similar role (IT Administrator, Systems Engineer)
• Microsoft Endpoint manager (SCCM / Intune / ConfigMgr)
• VMware
• M365 stack – Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint
• Virtual Desktop solutions – Horizon / Xen / WVD etc.
• Active Directory and Group Policy / Azure AD
• Windows Server 2012\2016\2019 implementation & administration
• Backup / Disaster recovery solutions and principles
• Professional certification – CCNA, MCSA, VCP, MCP
