Vhi Group Services DAC currently have a full time permanent role for a experienced Cloud Platform Manager to lead our new Cloud Platform team. This is a unique opportunity to manage and deliver a crucial part of our cloud vision and strategy by leading the scaling and ongoing operations of the Vhi cloud platform. The successful candidate will help define and evolve the team structure, processes and operating model of the team working together with the IT leadership and the Cloud Migration Factory teams.
 
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Accountability for the production environment and operations teams along with reporting and audit of the platform
• Defining, leading and communicating the strategy and vision for the platform team to foster a culture of innovation focused on achiving key business and IT goals.
• Lead governance and tracking of strategic activity, communicating the platform roadmap and backlog with key stakeholders and leadership.
• Complete multi-annual plans to deliver strategic activities and ensure alignment with broader enterprise goals including digital transformation, innovation, automation, rapid delivery, and cloud enablement.
• Establish good working relationship with the business units and IT teams including Engineering and Architecture.
• Responsibility to Design and Deliver Key technical capabilities to enhance the Platform from concept to delivery to ongoing implementation/support.
• Manage an advanced AWS environment to support architecture and development, supporting the live Platform including incident management and balancing delivery and continuous improvement of the Platform
• Lead, manage, and mentor the platform team to design, deliver, measure, and improve business outcomes using an agile approach.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge, providing critical input to other capability and platform teams as needed to ensure alignment with broader enterprise architecture and strategic objectives enhancing cross-business activity and planning capabilities.
• Implement information security requirements in accordance with Vhi policies and standards, incorporating security requirements into deliveries and operations.
• Manage platform partner and vendor relationships, including both professional services and licensing.

• Minimum of 10+ Years’ experience in IT Management and 3+ Years’ experience in managing a cloud platform team with AWS Certification
• Management of production environment and operations teams.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies/  agile methodologies and associated tooling.
• Proven understanding of AWS and automation concepts, practices, and procedures with a deep understanding of Engineering – DevOps / CI/CD and delivering Integration solutions.
• Proven experience working with large systems that need to scale.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.  Adept at explaining complex technical concepts and share your knowledge with diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to gain consensus among a large, diverse group of stakeholders.
• Collaborative and team-oriented work approach, able to easily motivate and inspire team members, peers, stakeholders, and executives.

  Highly desirable 
  • Previous experience with Adobe EM, Cloud Infrastructure & Containers, CDC & API Gateway, IAM platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Azure technologies.
  • Azure Certification
