Group Internal Audit at AIB
Group Internal Audit currently consists of approximately 70 audit professionals operating in the Ireland and the UK. The function operates independently as the third line of defence to provide assurance to the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control environment. The department promotes a dynamic work environment, staff empowerment and fully supports flexible working arrangements. We are now seeking applications from ambitious professionals who are keen to pursue an opportunity as a Senior IT Auditor based in Dublin.
We are looking for someone who can:
- Participate in audits from beginning to end including planning, testing and reporting
- Manage the resolution of agreed exceptions with the business areas and stakeholders within agreed timetables
- Actively develop and maintain positive working relationships with management and staff within the business
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of GIA's audit methodology standards, processes and AIB organisational structure
- Continuous adherence to and improvement of the Internal Audit process
- One year working as an IT Auditor.
- A third level IT qualification.
- Hold a professional IT audit qualification or have a willingness to undertake one.
- Be a self-starter who can either work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
- Have a lot of initiative and excellent attention to detail.
- Have good communication skills.
