What you will be doing

At Keelvar we believe in making the complex simple. Intuitive, accessible training material is a critical element of that spirit. 

As an Instructional Designer / Product Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and building out a training strategy to ensure our customers get the most value from their Keelvar experience. On a typical week, you will:

• Design, create and maintain all training material - customer and employee facing.
• Design, create and deliver a world class training experience during all phases of customer adoption.
• Create and deliver regular product webinars showcasing new functionality benefits and uses.
• Leverage our LMS platform to provide our customers with an easy-to-use and valuable training experience
• Remain up-to-date with the Keelvar product suite, including changes to the products, but also Keelvar strategy and thought leadership that may have an impact on product training.
• Work with our Customer Success Managers, our Content Editor, our Professional Services and Product teams to assess training needs and prepare material for all levels of advancement.
• Leverage data to evaluate behavioral and business impact of the training material produced.

Where is it based ? 

• Covid-19 has changed the work environment. While this role was originally for our Cork headquarters, we are now looking for remote candidates also.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Technology, Instructional Design, or a relevant field.
• 2+ years of Instructional Design, Product Training or equivalent field experience
• Enthusiasm for solving problems. 
• Love of technology and software products.
• Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems, and Content Management Systems.
• Design thinking skills - Proven ability to frame a complex use case, and design simple informational content that is easily absorbed by customers.
• Great communication skills.

Nice to have

• Background in Web Development with HTML and CSS experience.
