Stripe is building economic infrastructure for the internet. As an Infrastructure Engineer on the Access and Attribution team, you will help build and expand services and libraries used to access, manipulate and lifecycle data stored in S3 by Stripe teams. There is a significant amount of engineering (design and coding) necessary to make this a reality, both in maintaining an existing codebase and building new services and features.

Together, we will build reliable, resilient and high demand into Stripe’s foundations, with the steady support of our leadership team and peers. You’ll be working with a variety of teams, some engineering and some business, to provide infrastructure and guidance to solve their data storage needs in an easy, compliant and secure way. Your work will allow teams to move faster, more securely and ultimately help Stripe serve our customers more effectively.

You will:

• Design, build, and maintain the infrastructure used by all of Stripe’s engineering teams.
• Debug production issues across services and levels of the stack.
• Plan for the growth of Stripe’s infrastructure.
• Build a great customer experience for people using your infrastructure.
• Support critical systems required to operate Stripe.

Our team’s scope is large and there’s a lot of work to do, this is why we need you! Some of the project we are working on include:

• Build out a company wide authorization service accessing S3
• Build out a company wide system and tooling to help teams organize and reason about their offline data, including actionable insights
• Build out and improve tooling and libraries for teams to access offline data in an easy and secure way.
• Proactively and in a structured way provide expertise on offline storage to all teams at Stripe to increase efficiency and stay compliant with regulatory requirements
