Information Security Specialist - Pre-sales

About the Role

The Information Security Specialist provides pre-sales support for prospective customer due diligence and vendor risk management processes. They use in-depth domain knowledge to provide information to prospective customers through sales presentations, RFI/RFP responses, and Q&A sessions. In this role you will take an open and transparent approach to explaining and detailing the programs, processes, policies, and technical solutions in place to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Customer Data, presenting the value of Workday’s technology, security, and privacy practices to customers to differentiate Workday in the marketplace.

The successful candidate exhibits a strong combination of technical and soft skills, industry experience and stage presence.

Basic Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of enterprise application architecture
  • Comprehensive security knowledge covering encryption technologies, application security, network architectures, communications security, security technologies, authentication methodologies etc.
  • Working knowledge of information security frameworks, security standards and guidelines
  • Knowledge of security certifications and audits (ISO 27001, ISO 27018, SOC-1, SOC-2 etc.)
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and oral
  • Organized, adaptable, and highly detailed problem solver

Other Qualifications

  • Experience in SaaS, cloud computing, enterprise software or social network environment highly valued
  • Experience in technical pre-sales or customer facing roles valued
