The team:
As an IT Technician at Web Summit you will be be faced with new challenges on a daily basis. You will use logical troubleshooting to solve problems for all internal teams. You will gain excellent exposure working within a company that is expanding rapidly at present and have the opportunity to contribute to projects.
What you'll achieve:
- You’ll provide a wide range of IT support services to the 250 Irish and international employees of WebSummit
- You’ll collaborate with external suppliers, vendors and service providers
- You’ll contribute to projects such as ICT fulfillment for our events
- You’ll gain exposure to all areas of the business, working with all internal users and business units.
- You'll work in the wider engineering org, gaining valuable experience in ICT structures and supports
Skills we like:
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in supporting Mac, iPhone and Windows environments
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Experience in basic network troubleshooting, user provisioning, and systems administration (Google Apps, Skype and other SaaS solutions)
- Experience working with events
- BSc / MSc in IT, computer science or a related field
- Experience managing Computer Lifecycle & Asset Tracking
- Industry-recognised certifications (A+, ACMT, MCP)
