ENGINEERING MANAGER – FRONTEND 

The Role 

As an Engineering Manager within Fidelity Digital Assets, you will lead two Engineering teams in the delivery of business and technical initiatives for a suite of applications which fall under the remit of our Frontend teams. 

This is a delivery lead role where you will work closely with product owners, scrum masters, architects, technical leads in an Agile environment and lead the team in delivering high quality technology solutions to meet customer needs. 

You will maintain a strong team of high performers and invest in their career growth. Additionally, with the help of the technical lead on your team, you will ensure that modern software development practices are being followed. 

The Team 

Fidelity Digital Assets, a Fidelity Investments Company, is developing a full-service enterprise-grade platform for storing, trading, and servicing digital assets, such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Within Fidelity Digital Assets, the Frontend Engineering teams are responsible for building modern intuitive interfaces for our external Client UI, our external Marketing Website, and our internal Operations UI.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring 

 

  • General
    • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
    • 8+ years’ experience in IT
  • Delivery Management
    • Proven track record of leading teams in the design, development and implementation of customer facing user interfaces and websites
    • Strong background in applying Agile processes to deliver initiatives on time and to a high level of quality
    • Skilled at leading teams who follow modern software development practices such as test automation and CI/CD
    • Experience in Application Frameworks such as Angular / Angular JS / React a bonus
  • People Management
    • Highly adept at motivating and retaining top talent
    • Experience in managing associates in remote locations
    • Experience with hiring, performance management and career development of engineering associates
