This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for ensuring all Digital deliverables for each project are planned, scoped, executed, monitored and controlled to ensure Digital projects are delivered successfully - on time, on budget and aligned with Digital goals. Reporting to the Project Manager Lead, you will be responsible for the entire project scope, project team, project plan, project risk.
You will act as a leader within the Digital Team, representing the values and culture, and providing an environment upon which the team can excel and grow.

What else it involves
Ensure key deliverables regarding scoping, developing, testing, change management, operational readiness, security/controls are planned and delivered successfully and in accordance with project requirements
Establish and lead project management processes and methodology and ensure they are adhered to
Establish project teams with key resources from across the business and ensure availability is secured as required
Proactively lead the management and monitoring of digital project delivery and adherence to budget and schedule against key performance targets
Manage relationships with key project stakeholders to ensure required engagement is achieved and maintained throughout project
Lead, manage and track all IT Change Requests for the Digital Team – including requirements gathering, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, solution prioritisation and delivery within scope, timelines & budget.
Bring Digital First thinking to all aspects of Project Management
Lead/ participate in project team meetings and other meetings as required to manage the implementation and ensure project team are always engaged and informed
Work with the Service Ops Manager to bring Agile ways of working to our project environments
Highlight and manage project issues for timely resolution
Escalate where required to ensure project is delivered successfully
Develop and maintain project documentation – eg: Project Plan, Issue/ Risk Log
Prepare/ present material for submission for project approvals
Manage and co-ordinate project evaluation and appraisal procedures

The skills we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience working in Project Management, Assumptions, Dependencies, Issues and Risk Management
Experience working in cross-functional teams, influencing, and managing across teams.
Significant experience in Customer Journey mapping, ideally cross-functionally and in multiple areas of a business
Experience working in requirements gathering in an agile and waterfall environment
Excellent attention to detail, seeing potential risks before they materialise and ensuring quality of deliverables across all members of projects.
Exceptional interpersonal, networking, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills are essential with evidence of a proactive approach and creditable outcomes
Ability to demonstrate a drive for results within a pressurised environment to strict timelines
Appreciation of the customer, their needs and how to meet them
Strong Commercial Acumen
An experienced People Leader able to galvanise others behind a vision, set clear direction, build, develop, and motivate a high performing team
Excellent decision making and prioritisation capabilities
