About the Role

• Work on scaling the deployment architecture for security tools (example HashiCorp Vault), mostly in our data centres, while also providing production support rotation in a 24/7 support environment.
• Hands-on engineer, accomplishing the mission of codifying & automating everything, using tools and technologies like Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, scripting, etc.
• Follow a good development process, engineering best-practices, design/code quality and continuous improvement.
• Support excellent customer experience by being proactive in assessing production issues and working with the team to respond appropriately.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors’ Degree or related field and 5+ years’ experience as a professional Infrastructure engineer, Systems Engineer or Automation engineer in an engineering OR security organization.
• Experience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, etc.), CI/CD pipelines (GIT, Jenkins etc), and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef etc).
• Experience designing system implementations and/or maintaining critical infrastructure/systems at scale. Some examples could be zero-downtime upgrades, monitoring/alerting, etc.
• Hands-on experience with one or more Linux/Unix platforms like RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu/Amazon Linux.
• Strong technical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in multiple layers (infrastructure, networking and application).
• Experience developing in one or more modern programming languages (Python, Ruby, Golang or Scala).

Other Qualifications:

• Knowledge of security tools and fundamentals in secret management (Vault), encryption & authentication, infrastructure security, micro-segmentation firewall tooling. etc.
• Knowledge of Storage, Networking, Systems.
• Familiarity with Logging & Observability tools.
