We are working with an industry leading technology company who have a requirement for a DevOps Engineer to join the team as a Team Lead, and assist them with building out multiple pipelines for their application, assisting with process automation, and build first in class CICD pipelines.
We have been told by the manager that this role will have a high impact on the work they are doing and an Engineer/Lead that is coming on to their team will see the results of their work in a very short timeframe.
The role is based in Dublin, with Remote working option available. This is on a 12 month rolling contract.
Job Description:
- Be a lead in improving processed and procedures of the implementation and release management area, and creating automation anywhere you can.
- Work closely with Product Teams and other stakeholders to identify the gaps in build/deployment process and add to automation road maps
- Iteratively review and modify CI/CD principle
- Experience implementing quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and an understanding of the build vs runtime trade off.
- 5+ Years total experience, 2+ in a DevOps related role
- Experience working with AWS
- Strong Java skills, or scripting skills with Groovy / YAML
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Subversion, Mercurial)
- Experience with Application Container Management, using tools such as Docker, ECS.
