As an Experience Designer at Deloitte Digital, you will be working on projects in a collaborative team environment, following Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design principles to create meaningful solutions for our clients and their employees, users and customers.

  • 5+ years of human-centred design, or similar, professional practice; consulting experience is a plus
  • A passion for creating human-centred experiences that delight end users and that solve business problems
  • You bring a toolkit of methods, processes and approaches that you’ve built up over time and experience
  • You are an effective communicator and presenter, verbal, written and visual, with the ability to lead workshops and client showcases
  • Natural intellectual curiosity and problem solving drive
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at senior levels
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage successful multi-disciplinary teams, as well as manage projects end-to-end from a budgetary and client relationship perspective
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and help them to influence decisions
  • A desire to contribute to the broader success of the Design team by playing a mentoring and coaching role to other team members
  • Expert level with design and prototyping tools - we use Sketch, Figma, Invision and Adobe CS/CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.), other design tools are a bonus
  • You will have a relevant tertiary qualification e.g. Service Design, UX, industrial design, product design, visual design, interaction design, architecture or other relevant design discipline
