The Role
As a Database Developer within ILIM’s software development team you will;
• Design, develop, test and support solutions for new and existing systems, according to project requirements and technical standards.
• Work within agile project teams where you will need to collaborate with both technical and business colleagues.
• Gain and understanding of the fund management industry and trading lifecycle.

These technical skills are required;
• 2+ years professional database development experience.
• SQL programming and database schema design experience, preferably on Oracle 12/19c or SQLServer.
• Experience developing optimizations and improvements to existing code.
• Experience providing support in production and test environments.
These technical skills are not required but would be a distinct advantage;
• Data Integration / Extract-Transform-and-Load (ETL) tools and technologies.
• Scripting languages and command line tools, such as VBScript, PowerShell and Windows batch.
• Reporting writing tools such as Crystal Reports and Business Objects.
• Experience maintaining and improving continuous deployment practices and processes.
• Third level computing qualification would be an advantage
