Our organization owns application support and the delivery of infrastructure services to the Institutional Clients Group at Citi, through our global and diverse team of over 2300 people positioned across 66 cities in 37 countries supporting ~1800 applications.
The ICG Production Management organisation provides business critical application management and support to our ICG clients globally.
The CTI Infrastructure Service Delivery organization, through efficient provision and effective use of infrastructure, are uniquely positioned to deliver tangible benefit to ICG, alongside a best in class service from the global CTI organization. Owning our production platform provides a stable environment for our business.
Your role in our team would encompass the following and more:
Citi’s Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for you to join our Production Services Technology team as a Data Product Lead at Vice President level. Our technologists enable and support the success of our ICG businesses utilizing a broad range of technologies and data. We seek to drive our systems and processes toward scalable, low-latency, high-frequency enterprise systems to support Citi and our clients.

- Develops strategy for long term data platform architecture
- Evaluates data capture processes across multiple lines of business, implements data capture standardization and builds exception reports to govern
- Writes, implements and controls scoring logic that captures an applications stability, risk and efficiency
- Programmers who has hands-on experience with Python3, Including Pandas, REST API and Database is strongly desired
Working within ICG Production Management and Service Delivery, you will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about both operational and non-operational day to day activities across a global application and infrastructure support organization that directly enables the needs of the Institutional Clients Group
- Partnership with Production Support and Infrastructure delivery teams to proactively deepen understanding of our business, technologies, data and streamline processes to continuously improve ourselves and the service we deliver
- Develop and gain an understanding of full software development lifecycle by partnering with our engineering function
- Develop and gain an advanced understanding of reporting business needs, data & flows
- Advance and establish measures, processes and systems around reporting
- Partner with PS teams to provide ad hoc analysis from our data storage platforms
- Develop dashboards through business intelligence tools for analysis and providing insight to our teams
- Grow data capabilities by organizing and driving data to enable our objectives, enhance data accuracy and offering
- Driving progress across our operating fundamentals and stability objectives, both within ICG and partnering with other sectors
- Delivering best in class governance around our key operating fundamental streams, running point on progress and reporting status for ICG and partnering with other sectors
- Co-ordinate and contribute to ICG PS & ISD publications for key products offered
- Scope, structure and execute strategic initiatives in support of our objectives for the next 18-24 months. Examples include:
- Review the use of data in the organisation – both online and manual – are we making the best use of the data available to us in the most efficient way?
Education:
- B.S. or M.S. in Data Science or related technical field
Other desirable experience or qualifications:
- A knowledge base and understanding of python, SQL and experience with a front-end data visualization tool like PowerBi
- Experience designing, building and maintaining data process systems
- Extensive industry or service improvement experience
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Exposure to leading edge technology
- Prince2, PMP, Sig Sigma or another relevant qualification
- Knowledge to Apache Spark is a plus
