Data Privacy Specialist
Our client a leading, international internet services provider is looking to hire a Data Privacy Specialist
With 2+ years of experience working with GDPR / data privacy/Intellectual property guidelines, to join their expanding team in Dublin.
This role will initially be on a 12-month contract with a view to extension or permanency.
What will a Data Privacy Specialist do?
- Play a key role GDPR compliance, ensuring customer satisfaction and building trust in the company.
- Act as “voice of the customer”, work with product and Business Growth team to improve Huawei Mobile Services and bring the best mobile experience to customers.
- Proactively flag lacks of efficiency, providing upward feedback communicating regularly with supervisors and managers.
- Handle and reply to data subject requests in a timely manner as the first line support and provide an analytical report to Head of Customer Service and Chief Privacy Officer.
- Work closely with privacy team to improve processes so that customers can execute their data subject rights.
- Provision and development of data protection training, including training materials, for specific business units as required.
- 2+ years of experience working with GDPR / data privacy/Intellectual property guidelines
- Previous experience responding to DSR requests (data subject rights) and other GDPR requests such as RTBF (right to be forgotten)
- Additional European language a huge plus (French, German, Italian, Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Turkish prefered)
- CIPP/E Certification a plus but not a must
