Expanding its IT Consulting practice, our client now requires the expertise of a Data Architect with cloud experience due to increased demand within the business.
For this role, the ideal candidate will have significant client-side experience or someone who has gained project and technology delivery experience within large recognised organisations in Ireland.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
- Be proactive in business development, winning of new clients
- Participate in presentations and proposals for medium complex projects or elements of highly complex projects.
- Subject matter resource for Data Platform architecture, leveraging knowledge of cloud implementations to advise clients
- Understand the companies service offerings and actively identify opportunities to better serve client
Experienced Required:
- Expert on all areas of the Azure Data Platform such as Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL
- Experience in Data Engineering and Data Wrangling
- Strong Python & SQL programming experience
- Experience leading a team
- Experience working towards Agile methodologies
- Experience in Enterprise Information Modelling and Data-cantered platform engineering
- Experience with the MS BI toolset, including O365 tools and Powerplatform (Power BI etc)
- Familiar with Big Data infrastructures & eco systems (Hadoop)
- Experience working on large digital transformation projects
- Certification in MS Azure or AWS Cloud data engineering
