Your Role:

The Data team lies at the heart of Tenable’s strategy meaning it will play a key role in our product portfolio in the months and years ahead. The Data Science intern will have the opportunity to become fluent with the Modern Data Stack and utilise the stack to solve some of the biggest challenges in the cyber security industry. The successful candidate will partner and receive mentorship from a team of talented and experienced data engineers.

 

Your Opportunity:

  • Work within a high-performing team to develop large-scale data engineering solutions to load and transform data within our Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Develop software to an extremely high quality aimed at areas such as security, reliability, testability and maintainability.
  • Support a true DevOps / CICD software delivery model.
  • Drive innovation by contributing new ideas for our processes, tools, and technologies

What You’ll Need:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Enthusiasm and passion for working with data at cloud scale.
  • Experience developing with SQL plus familiarity of data modelling
  • Familiarity with Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Knowledge of a language such as: Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Node.js, Python, or Go is preferred and a willingness to learn new languages as needed
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work within a team to learn and grow.
