Description

One of our clients, a leading telecommunications company is seeking an ambitious service engineer to help with the running of one of their cutting edge data centres.

This person will:

• Support data center integration service presales activities, including pre-sales bidding document interpretation, develop data center integration service bidding solutions, evaluate and develop procurement strategies and subcontracting strategies for data center integration solutions.
• Understand the basic strategies and mainstream subcontractors in the data center integration service industry.
• As a data center integration expert, support after-sales delivery service for data center integration projects, to execute professional services delivery (Installation, commissioning and integration), related with DCF solutions: UPS systems, batteries, diesel generators, electrical switchgear, power distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC equipment and other cooling technologies, fire detection/suppression, Datacenter monitoring systems, and modular & prefabricated Datacenter (include modular & prefabricated DC structural installation ).

• Extensive knowledge of data center integration system, including: diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, chillers, computer room air handlers, fire detection/suppression and building monitoring systems.
• Understand European Union or local countries’ regulation, criteria and running standards on DC, such as uptime.
• Electrical related certification, AutoCAD or related certification will be preferred.
• Candidate must display confidence in client-facing situations. With good skills to communicate with customers or consultants.
• Team player with excellent consultative and communication skills and the proven ability to work effectively with internal and external clients, partners and consultants.
