Data & Analytics CoE is a diverse team of technology enthusiast enabling our global business. JCI has embarked on a Data strategy that focuses on establishing strong technology CoE, enterprise data management & cloud based business solutions. Technical Architect (Platform) is an integral part of Technical Architecture team. This role will be based out of Cork, IRE, reporting into Technical Architect Lead.
Design, implement and deploy big Data solutions and applications that can perform at scale on one or more of the following components data streaming, ingestion, munging, machine learning, publication and analytics
Work with leadership and stakeholders to define the overall vision, mission, and strategy for the analytics architecture & data platform
Mentor & guide technical project teams based globally on Hadoop, Azure platform components
Technical leadership role to lead and manage execution of the big data cloud strategy
How you will do it
Provide a leadership role in the application of architecture and design standards and promote best practices
Connect with the functional and technical leads when prioritizing the technology initiatives to support analytics
Design and implement storage, compute and other back-end services in fully virtualized environments
Building solutions to monitor, trace, log and address any/all concerns in cloud-based data platform architecture
