Cyber Security Platforms Architect

The Cyber Security Platforms Architect will provide in-depth cyber security architecture and design cyber security platforms in a secure way. The primary responsibility of this role is to act as subject matter expert for all security projects especially those pertaining in Microsoft 365 for Enterprise. The architect will ensure that existing and new solution implementations are aligned with internal security policies and NIST SP800-53 standard. This role is responsible to design preventive and detective security controls and managing solution support services provided by IT service providers. The position will be reporting to Cyber Security Architecture Manager.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as Product Owner for security platforms (i.e. Azure AD and Azure workloads security, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Intune, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Defender ATP, CyberArk etc).
  • Defining platform architecture based on secure design principles (zero trust, defense in depth, security by design, etc.) and mitigate threats as they emerge.
  • Securing cloud environments and workloads.
  • Deploying privilege access management solutions and protecting privileged accounts.
  • Designing and maintaining endpoint device management solutions (workstations and mobile devices).
  • Deploying data classification and leakage prevention systems and protect company data using custom policies in Office365.
  • Working closely with the identity and access management team to ensure identity protection.
  • Managing IT service providers and constantly work in optimizing services.
  • Participating in RFP selection process and ensuring that security requirements will be implemented during every project implementation.
  • Developing and maintaining security standards.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Information Security
  • 4-8 years professional work experience in architecting cyber security solutions in support of compliance against NIST cybersecurity or other frameworks.
  • Proven experience of delivering enterprise, infrastructure and application security architecture.
  • Extensive expertise in cybersecurity domains: application security, cloud security (Azure, AWS, Google), identity and access control, cryptography and data security.
  • Hands on experience in designing and managing the following products is preferred: Azure AD and Azure workloads security, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Intune, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Defender ATP and CyberArk.
  • Certifications CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, Microsoft security certifications, Enterprise Architecture certifications (Zachman, SABSA, CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF) are preferred.
