Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson is a key driver in the acceleration and creation of a truly Cloud Native RAN. We own our solution from architecture definition to deployment in the customer network.  In this role, you will be part of an engineering team with full ownership of a key aspect of our product.

You will work and collaborate with leading experts in Radio and Cloud Native technologies including 5G, Public & Private Clouds, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence!

You will

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Cloud Native components and microservices
  • Adopt microservice cloud-native paradigms and continuous integration / continuous deployment models to realize the full potential of cloud-native solutions
  • Work with the team driving improvements and efficiencies within our products and processes
  • Work with architects on the evolution of technical solutions
  • Contribute to open-source communities
  • Focus on best-in-class product quality and customer experience

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Proficiency in one or more languages, such as Java or Python
  • Have 5+ years of relevant Software Development experience
  • Knowledge in cloud technologies and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm), containers/microservices, databases, and security
  • Be familiar with the latest CI/CDD technologies
  • Customer focus and ambition to understand customer needs on developed features
  • Have the capability to perform at your best in a team setting, working in a multi-cultural & international environment
  • Have a BSc/MSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • Be proficient in English, written and spoken
