C/C++ Developer Contract Dublin. My client a global leader in their market is in urgent need of a talented and experienced C/C++ Developer to join their team on a long term rolling contract.
This role will part of the global securities division , you analyse requirements, design and build solutions for changes to the trades processing applications in the EMEA region. You will be required to interact and build relationships with stakeholders, including business sponsors to understand and refine requirements. Responsible for delivering solutions for specific changes - either individually or as part of a larger project team.
Successful candidates will have hands on experience as a technologist with experience in programming languages C,C++, PLSQL. You will have experience with working on data repository tools like git, bit bucket, subversion etc. A good background in modern OO language with experience in at least one of Java/Scala/Python/C#. Candidates will also have an understanding of fundamental algorithms and ability to optimise existing code, for example oracle tuning.It would be seen as an advantage if you had experience in financial services space, experience of Specification by Example / TDD, Experience in working on high performance and high availability system development and Some experience of interacting with Gloss systems.
