The client is looking for high-end technical Cloud Security professionals that are very much hands-on in terms of Design, Engineering & Development mainly in AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Drive cloud/container security improvements
• Review existing vulnerability management program, identify areas for improvement and implement changes
• Perform application security assessments and create action plan for improvement
• Review and recommend network security improvements (network segmentation, Web Application Firewall, etc)
• Engage in our vendor risk management program
• Implement and/or enhance security controls of CI/CD pipelines.
• Meet with product owners, development teams, and affiliated parties to review your assessment results and consult on remediation options.
• Meet with stakeholders to track vulnerabilities and then perform retests as needed.
• Lead activity to investigate and mitigate security incidents
• Mentor and evangelise security practices through cross functional work with technical and non-technical teams throughout the organisation.

• 5+ years' experience in a similar Security role Architecting, Designing & Engineering Security Solutions across Network, System & Cloud Platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure)
• 2+ years' experience in a Security Operations Team, hands-on experience with Security Operations\SOC\SIC
• Proven experience Designing IT Security Solutions, Services & Programs
• Knowledge of compliance programs, methodologies & frameworks
• Great organisational skills with ability to multi-task is essential
• You need to be able to plan and prioritise work effectively to ensure we work as a team
• Take responsibility for own work, ensuring it is accurate, meets quality standards and performed on a timely basis
• Individuals must also have a proven record of working in a team environment
