PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE

The Innovation Adoption Services (IAS) Team runs and supports cloud-based products and customer specific cloud applications. We work with a wide range of SAP cloud-based solutions, including SAP Sales Cloud, SAP Business ByDesign, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Commerce Cloud, SuccessFactors as well as mobile solutions. Our integration experts take care of all types of system integrations, Cloud to On Premise or Cloud to Cloud for Third Party or SAP systems. Additionally, we provide expert support to enable partners to deliver high quality products to their customers. We constantly seek to improve our products and solutions to provide a better customer experience by delivering highly reliable applications.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Monitor different systems to follow up on availability and message exchange accuracy
  • Obtain detailed and accurate information relating to how to reproduce the issue, use open questions to analyse business impact, utilizing effective questioning/troubleshooting techniques
  • Display superior customer service when providing inbound and outbound (phone, email, incident) application/functional support and resolution to customers (external and internal)
  • Involvement in incident reduction tasks like creation of Knowledge Base Articles, wiki update and notes
  • Collaborate with teams in different support hubs to deliver 24x7 support across the globe
  • Effective system operations along the software lifecycle
  • Engage in operations model/operational processes and procedures
  • Analyse log files and integration flows to identify and resolve errors 

RELIABILITY ENGINEERING

The team monitors applications and environments to ensure smooth operations and maximize uptime and performance of Cloud Software.
The team collaborates and works with teams across different countries and regions with the common goal to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

Required Skills

  • Communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with customers
  • Remain focused and patient to seek pragmatic and effective solutions with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies such as .Net framework 4.0, IIS, SQL Server, Windows Services, Web Services / or Linux, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, Websphere, Weblogic, and middleware technologies
  • Basic knowledge in Web Servers, Application Servers and Middleware tools
  • Basic knowledge in MS SQL Server Database, Oracle, HANA, MaxDB etc.
  • Some exposure to Security aspects, Firewall, IDS, WAF, Mod Security, Various Certifications and Standards
  • Experience of working in Python, Django, HTML, Bash, Ruby Rails, Numpy, Matplotlib
  • Automation experience with PowerShell scripting, chef, Puppet or Salt, Rundeck, Monsoon etc.
