Research Engineer in Analytics and Machine Learning will work within the Network Management Lab, Ericsson, Ireland. Successful candidates will carry out cutting-edge research, design innovative solutions for network management problems by applying advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to develop proof-of-concepts.
- A PhD or a Master’s degree in computer science or in a related field
- Excellent research experience in Telecoms domain and experience in H2020 Projects
- Experience in machine learning domain (e.g., in R or Weka or similar machine learning languages/frameworks)
- Excellent exposure to computer systems, networks and programing (e.g., Java, Python, Kubernetes Micro-services)
- Experience in building prototypes, simulators and proof-of-concepts to validate research concepts
- Sound analytical and system design skills are essential
- Strong capabilities and eagerness to learn new methodologies and technologies quickly
- Exposure to big data systems is advantageous
- Good written, verbal communications and teamwork skills with proven research publication skills
- Ability to work independently and right attitude to work in fast paced industrial research environment
