Application Support Engineer SQL - Contract Dublin 12 months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Application Support Engineer SQL to join them on a contract basis.

My client is looking for an experienced Production Support Analyst to join their Markets Application Production Support Team. Track, fix and report all issues raised by users globally. You will Manage major incidents ensuring timely communications and working collaboratively with Technology partners to restore services and in adherence with enterprise standards. You will Liaise with the development team with regards to required changes/upgrades to these applications across a large user base .You will Work with support team to streamline and improve processes to deliver efficiencies in the delivery of production support. You will Partner with Infrastructure teams to support the rollout of non-functional change. You will maintain algorithms in ITRS making sure they conform to current alerting requirements. You will Use SQL, C, Unix scripting languages in order to troubleshoot functional errors. You will Develop relationships with key business stakeholders.

Successful candidates will have T-SQL skills (Microsoft SQL Server / Sybase), You will have UNIX/LINUX experience. Candidates will ideally have experience with C / C++,Scala, Python.
