Our client is a rapidly expanding USA FinTech software company in the Tipp/Limerick region. This is a permanent role offering an upper quartile salary plus full benefit package.
In this role will contribute to the design, build and support of core features/functionality related to data analytics and digital adoption. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to design and build best-in-class experiences for our users and you will partner with product and engineering leads to scope, architect and execute on key features/enhancements. You will take ownership of the new product from development through deployment and production monitoring and you will work with QA to develop test plans/strategies.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and you enjoy working as part of a team. You have good problem solving skills and strong analytical skills. With a relevant third level degree, you have circa 4 – 8 yrs software development experience, with at least 2 years of experience in an Android development role. You should have a strong understanding of relational databases (preferably MySQL) and have some experience of/ or exposure to RESTful APIs.
Desirable skills/technology will be using on a day to day basis in this role will include Java, cloud platforms (both AWS and Google Cloud), Android Bound Services and Android Open Source Project, distributed computing, Kotlin, Python, Git, Gerrit etc.
