The Intel Movidius group has an opening for a Deep Learning Embedded Systems Engineer. This position will work closely with other groups to explore and validate the performance of the next generation of our silicon products. You will work across multiple projects and collaborate with various Intel teams including customer-facing and architectural design teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Validating the functionality of our next-gen silicon
- Ensuring that our products can utilize their full performance capabilities
- Contribute to the system architecture and feature enablement
- Disseminating learnings to other developers in the product lifecycle
- Must have either a BSc, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or similar field
- 3 years hands-on coding experience in C++11 programming language and extensive knowledge of modern language features
- Problem-solving and algorithm design skills
- Development experience in a Linux environment
- Prior usage of Git or other version control system
- Prior usage of Jenkins or other continuous Integration system
- Good spoken, and written communication skills
The following is highly desired:
- Knowledge/Experience of Deep Learning / Neural Networks
- Python and scientific computing experience
- Experience with Deep Learning frameworks (TF, Caffe, PyTorch, OpenVino, etc.)
- Numerical coding experience in quantized precision such as float16, bfloat16, int8 and other models
