2021 - PhD intern - Cloudification

We are looking for an intern to work with our research team, conducting world-class

research in the area of Cloudification and Management of future Autonomous Driving

Networks. The research team is working on production datasets in close collaboration

with a team of Domain Experts, Software Engineers and Cloud Architects.

Example research areas in CT Lab include the following:

  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Fault Prediction
  • Anomaly Detection
  • Intelligent Trace Selection

We are looking for interns interested in one or more of the following ML/AI areas:

  • Time-series causality analysis and forecasting
  • Neural Networks and Deep Learning
  • Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOPs)
  • Graph Neural Networks
  • Bayesian Networks
  • Reinforcement Learning, Dynamic Programming, Optimal control

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a "PhD degree" in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Experience (classroom/work) in one or more of the following: Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Statistics, Data Mining.
  • Experience with general purpose programming languages: Python, Java or Go.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Available to work for 20-40 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Returning to your degree after completing the internship.
  • Relevant work experience, including internships, full time industry experience or as a researcher in a lab.
  • Ability to design and execute on research agendas.
  • Experience with research communities and/or efforts, including having published papers (being listed as author) at top conferences (e.g. NIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, etc.).
