Senior Java J2EE Developer contract Ireland. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Senior Java J2EE Developer to join them on a contract basis.
My client is looking for a candidate will work as part of a global lean-agile organisation delivering high profile initiatives across the flagship Treasury platform leveraging API, Mobile and Web Technologies. They will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, from application design, development through delivery, particularly during the execution phase. They will work closely with Product Managers, developers and quality analysts throughout the project lifecycle. They will actively participate in all Agile practices.
Successful candidates will have extensive experience in Java programming including transaction management, webservices, Rest APIs, XMLs, Junit, etc. You will have a Good knowledge of databases, PL/SQL. Candidates will have good analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to emerging technologies. You will have experience working with Build tools (Maven, Bit Bucket, Jenkins). You will have a good ability of gathering and understanding the requirements. Previous experience of working in Agile.Ability to work independently and within a distributed large global team.
