We are creating the future Ericsson Intelligent Application Platform for the entire Operational Support System (OSS) product portfolio. We are searching for Senior DevOps Engineers with strong integration experience in Kubernetes / Docker environment. Exciting challenges and many new technologies will advance your professional development by creating a telecommunication grade cloud-based platform for application development like Service Mesh, Cloud (Azure, AWS, Google), Networking, Object store, infrastructure (K8s, OpenShift, Tanzu), etc. If looking to learn and build new solutions using different technologies appeals to you, then you are our candidate.  

 

In this role you will… 

Create the future Ericsson Intelligent Application Platform, which will be used by Ericsson products within the OSS portfolio. 

Participate in full product delivery lifecycle in an Agile team. 

Using groundbreaking technologies (Kubernetes, Containerd, OpenShift, Azure, AWS, Google, Helm, Helmfile) on daily bases. 

Work closely together with your teammates and other teams in diverse multi-site environment. 

Drive improvements by coming up with new insights related to our products and processes. 

Key Requirements 

Systemic view and Architectural way of thinking. 

Experience in the integration of open-source projects. 

Strong DevOps mindset. 

Kubernetes experience, usage of its API and creating Kubernetes Manifests 

Experience in creating / deploying docker containers. 

Experience with Containerd and an interest in growing in this area. 

Experience in Linux and Python scripting. 

Knowledge of Software lifecycle management and packaging (CI/CD infrastructure) (Jenkins, Spinnaker). 

Knowledge of product development related automation. 

Strong troubleshooting skills 

A MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or in a related field 

Proficiency in English, both written and verbally

 

It's a huge plus if you have knowledge in: 

Kubernetes Networking 

Security (Users, RBAC, TLS Certificate Knowledge) 

Azure, Google and/or AWS platforms 

Tanzu 

Red Hat OpenShift 

Helm / Helmfile 

Red Hat Enterprise Linux / Sles 

Jenkins / Spinnaker 

Gerrit / GIT
