This is a permanent opportunity based in Rathfarnham, Dublin. We are currently permitting 100% remote working during the COVID-19 restrictions though some office attendance will be expected in the future with plenty of weekly home-working flexibility enabled.

Responsibilities:

  • Support, monitor and troubleshoot Linux servers and storage on a need basis - on prem and in Cloud (patching, resizing, tuning, hardening)
  • Installation of new environments locally and in Cloud
  • Maintenance and improvement of monitoring system
  • Task automation with Ansible and Terraform
  • Take care of network services (VPN, DNS, VPC)

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English
  • Proven experience in design, configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of networks, infrastructure, and services
  • Strong operating systems knowledge (Linux - a must, Windows - nice to have)
  • Familiar with git, nginx, LDAP and BIND
  • Basic SQL knowledge (MariaDB and postgresql)
  • At least +2-year experience on similar position

Nice to have:

  • Terraform
  • Corosync/pacemaker clustering
  • Base knowledge of AWS or any other cloud services provider
